Project of the employment area
Aim of the project - speedy and resolute integration of the plan for the development of modern districts for employment and commercial activity in Jaffa, as a complementary aspect to the development of tourism, construction and infrastructures.
For this purpose, with the help and funding of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, a planning company has been chosen, which has proposed a feasibility plan for the upgrading of the southern employment region, which is appropriate to the mood of the period and the directions of the development of the city in its southern sector.
A policy document is to be prepared in 2004, for the approval of the regional committee, which directs the planning and development bodies (municipal and otherwise) and will form a framework for the acceptance of decisions regarding the development of the region.
The policy document will include all the relevant areas: land designations, municipal design, traffic and transport and public services etc.
