The Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality Finance Committee has recently approved a 6m Nis budget for a city WiFi Network.
The network will be spread during 2013 in parks, city shores, main streets and commercial centers; the purpose of which is to provide free internet for residents and visitors of the city.
A tender for the supply of Internet Service will be published in the upcoming months.
Tel Aviv-Yafo is the first city in Israel to operate a free WiFi network in public spaces.
